I chose a beautiful selection of British cut flowers including some from my own garden and created arrangements in a natural hand-picked style. I also made buttonholes and corsages to display around the showroom, which helped to create a beautiful English Country Garden wedding theme.
Guests enjoyed a hand and arm massage while finding out more about Jo Malone’s new bridal consultations and pre-wedding parties.
Getting married? Come along to one of our floral bridal events
My wedding and event flower workshops are always popular with brides to be and can be enjoyed by the bride, the mothers of the bride and groom and the bridesmaids. Some brides enjoy coming along with their girlfriends for an alternative Hen Party get together and others are keen to learn how to make their own wedding hand-tie bouquets, corsages and buttonholes using seasonal British cut flowers.
These events are designed to be great fun and part of your wedding celebrations. I always make sure it’s an occasion in itself as well as a journey of discovery to see what beauty can be created using locally grown flowers and foliage.
Spend a few therapeutic hours learning how to make stylish hand-tie bouquets and eye-catching jam jar arrangements. It’s all about knowing which combination of flowers to use to achieve the look you want.
There will be flowers and laughter and there’ll also be champagne and canapes. If you would like to join the next workshop or arrange one for your own party get in touch by email.
If you don’t want to do it yourself …
I take commissions for wedding flowers using seasonal British cut flowers which I generally source from my own garden. I love talking ideas with brides to be, discussing options such as unusual flower types, scented flowers and colour schemes and finding ways to be creative with sustainable English garden blooms.
