My Valentine's Day

14/2/2016

Spring is on her way! I know this because of two things...it was still light, almost, until after 5.30pm and I started my seed sowing in ernest today.
The Sweet Peas, Antirrhinums and Ammi have all been sown and now I'm looking at them, expecting to see some sign of life! Perhaps in a week or two.
It's been a beautiful, cold but sunny day today, and there is some warmth in the sun, especially in the greenhouse where I was working. The heavy shower of snow didn't arrive until I was tucked up inside, with a large mug of tea.
We shall be talking about sowing seeds at the Garden and Flower School monthly classes.
Please let me know if you would like to attend.

I started gardening aged three, helping my father in our family garden. My passion has 'grown' from this point onwards.
